There are three character classes in West of Loathing:
- Cow Puncher, a class focused on the muscle stat. This class uses melee weapons and crafts items using Leatherworkery.
- Beanslinger, a class focused on the mysticality stat. This class uses bean-magic in the fights and crafts items using Master Cookery.
- Snake Oiler, a class focused on the moxie stat. They have a pistol as a weapon of choice and crafts items using Potionology.
All classes are fairly well-balanced. The difficulty depends on your play-style and your "Pardner".
